Viewers Meet The Davis Throuple
The TLC show follows the lives of polygamists – viewers watch couples trying to court another woman, and it has brought plenty of drama just like the network’s Sister Wives. When the first episode of season 4 aired on June 7, viewers met a whole new polygamist trio, Jennifer, Nick, and April Davis. These trio have been a throuple for a while and are new to the TLC series.
Viewers Are Already Disgusted At New Cast Member, Nick Davis
Viewers find out that Jennifer much younger than her husband. During the premiere episode, Nick told the cameras that he had wanted to practice polygamy for over 15 years, but viewers quickly noticed some red flags, and they took to Reddit to share their concerns. A Redditor wrote,“wtf does Nick do all day?” The new cast member seem to sit at home all day and read, and then his two hardworking wives come home after a stressful day to cook for him.
Fans were also confused as to why the wives willingly hand over their paychecks to him. The patriarch says that he is doing research and is trying to further extend his plural family, but viewers aren’t buying that. Some even joked about him being too busy stretching his intellect to even cook a meal for himself and his wives.
A New Wife For The Davis Family
Viewers of the TLC show have learned a lot about the new plural family on the first episode. Lazy Nick met his first wife, April in college and they’ve been a couple since then. April and her sister wife, Jennifer decided to marry one another and take Nick’s last name to prove their commitment to one another.
The two women told the cameras that their husband is a lot to handle especially in the bedroom. The Davis family is currently looking searching for a third wife and they have found 22-year-old Danielle. Fans can only watch and see how this will turn out.
