Kate Middleton has been called out for allegedly copying Meghan Markle’s fashion sense with her style of shoes.

Kate, for her part, was recently voted behind Meghan in a poll which suggested that the latter was more attractive than the Duchess of Cambridge.
Not only that, but another poll equally stated that Meghan was more of a ‘fashion influence.’ With that being said, Kate’s decision to wear the same shoe brand as Meghan has been scrutinised.
During Kate’s appearance at the recent ‘Order of the Garter,’ she was seen wearing the brand ‘Aquazzura love link sling 105 pumps’. And yet, it is alleged that this is Meghan’s favourite shoe brand.
In addition, it is also alleged that prior to 2021, Kate did not wear this. And that is something that TikTok user @matta_of_fact picked up on. In her comments, she said: “Kate Middleton did not wear them before 2021.
“That was the first time we saw her wearing this type of shoe…I think this is another instance of the Meghan effect taking a hold of Kate, and this time it has caused her to wear an evening shoe with a daytime look.”
Nevertheless, it is possible to take those comments with a pinch of salt. First of all, this could be down to a simple case of coincidence.
And as Kate and Meghan may have frequented similar circles at one point, it is not out of the realm of possibility that they had similar fashion connections.
Secondly, it could be argued that this may have someway been a part of the Royal dress code. And yet, that is not what the TikToker wanted to focus on.
It was the fact that Kate failed to pull off the look. Her following comments confirmed as much: “Kate if you’re going to copy Meghan at least learn how to style it!”
