‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to get a new week off and running with some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re going to circle back to some recent storylines in this episode, as well as avoiding any real drama, but it’s safe and we’ll have some character growth.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, June 20: Drafted again
At this point, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) should be used to being recruited to do the Newman’s dirty work, and we think Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is going to have something for him.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers suspect she’s going to have him try to make Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)’s life in Genoa City miserable to force her to leave.
It’ll be along the same lines of the lawsuits he was bombarding Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) with, except this time Michael won’t have the same personal stake in it.
In fact, this will put Michael in a difficult position as he like Diane, but he won’t want to disappoint Nikki or the Newmans in general.
We’re curious if this is what will shake his faith in his current job, or will he put his feelings aside and march into battle and alienate someone he cares about again?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, June 20: Quality time
It’s been a while since Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) have been able to sit and talk, and we expect that and more when Jill grills him.
She’s going to want to know how he’s doing, what he’s thinking, and so on. Typical parent checking on their kid type of thing.
We think she’ll focus mostly on Billy’s podcast and she’ll be proud of how he’s opening up and using the platform to help others.
This will lead to over discussions about where he feels he’s at and where he’s going.
It’ll be a good heart to heart, and will probably be drawn out far longer than it needs to be.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, June 20: Nate’s distracted
Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will continue to worm her way into Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic)’s heart and mind after her encouragement on him following his heart, and it’s going to cause some problems.
It may be a slow burn at first, but Nate’s going to be distracted and thinking about Imani when he’s with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and it’ll his Elena hard knowing that she could lose him before too long.
She may even try something drastic to keep Nate, but will it do any good?
