‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here, and we’re set to head into hump day with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
We’ve been waiting for it, but the first shoe has fallen as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) declared she’s cutting all ties with the Newman family and company to start over fresh.
It’s liberating for her to know no one’s pulling her strings like a puppeteer, but worst of all this all came about because Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) must have complete control over everyone.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, June 8: Victoria’s free!
With her declaration made and the Newmans in a mess over it, she’s going to continue on her path by, we think, paying Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) a visit to let him know her decision.
He’ll be happy for her at first since he’s been encouraging her to walk away from Victor for years, but he’ll quickly realize Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is involved somehow.
He won’t like that and will try to talk her out of it, but in the end, she won’t budge and they’ll try to avoid an argument. They may even succeed at it.
Billy will want her to be happy, and if she is he’ll live with that.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, June 8: Nick vents
Victoria’s news will spread far and wide as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will stop by and lay it all out for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Sharon will share his feelings on it, especially when they assume Ashland had something to do with it, because to everyone in Genoa Coty Victoria is incapable of making her own decision.
Anyone else notice that?
Anyway, Sharon will want to talk to her, and she may get her chance if Victoria pops in, except we suspect this will be more of a argument than not on Sharon’s part.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, June 8: Victor’s pledge
With Victoria walking away, essentially making Victor the loser in his own war, Victor will regain control over her, er, vow to protect his family at all costs.
He’ll look to destroy Ashland any way he can and not take a second to examine that he’s the reason Victoria is walking away, just like Nick has partially done.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expects Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to try to calm him down and bot push their daughter further away, and Victor will ignore her like usual.
Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be celebrating his and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)’s plan working to care about anything but eventually getting into the big chair.
Will Nikki be able to keep Victor from making another mistake? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
