Fans have blasted Prince Charles over his Father’s Day photo of him with his sons Prince William and Prince Harry.
Prince Charles SLAMMED For Playing Happy Families With Throwback Photo Of Prince William And Harry On Father’s Day-‘Cheating And Demonising Their Mother…A Fantastic Father Definitely’
This arrives on the back end of Harry’s recent visit to the UK to attend Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. During the course of that process, Charles was very distant from Harry.
Not only that, But reports indicated that a meeting between Harry, Meghan, Charles and Duchess Camilla at the latter duo’s house failed to lead to a reconciliation. With that being said, the following photo did generate a lot of emotions.
In the picture here, we can see that Charles is lying on the grass next to a young Harry and William. They all have massive smiles on their faces and could not be any happier.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Wishing everyone a very happy Father’s Day!” That naturally did not go down well for the following reasons.
First of all, Charles was called out for not showing the same enthusiasm when Harry was in the country. After all, he could have embraced his son much more and spent time with Archie and Lilibet in the public eye.
Secondly, given that Charles was pictured with William’s son Louis during the Jubilee, the fans picked up on his lack of consistency.
And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media. A certain subset of fans were outraged by Charles’ lack of sensitivity.
One person wrote: “Besides cheating and demonising their mother, making them walk behind her coffin and being more interested in his mistress than them, yeah a fantastic father definitely.”
While another person stated: “No he is not a good father; what are the qualities of a good father. Tell me Prince Charles fatherly quality.”
It is safe to say that Charles’ message has not been well received, but the only way to win back Harry has to be to show a united front rather than social media posts. So there you have it folks.
