2022 has been a turbulent year for Prince Andrew. In March 2022, the Duke of York settled his sexual assault lawsuit against Virginia Guiffre out-of-court. To protect what was left of the prince’s tarnished reputation, the royal family left him out of several royal plans during the platinum. However, Prince Andrew is back in the spotlight again for the wrong reasons. This time, the Duke is making the headlines after a recent report emerged that the embattled Duke could be involved in a fresh lawsuit over his association with Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Andrew has recently been spotted in public despite the reports about him circulating in the press. The Duke was spotted in Windsor driving a car. The Duke has not publicly reacted to the claims recently made by the plantiff’s attorney, Spencer Kuvin, who told the Sunday Mirror that Prince Andrew would soon be summoned by a court.
Prince Andrew Back In The Spotlight For Wrong Reasons
The attorney said, “We are looking into serving Prince Andrew. We’d get a subpoena issued here in the States which is brought over to England and localised, then we would have to locate him and have him served. He should be a fairly easy target to locate.” It’s clear that Prince Andrew is trying to stay away from the problem he’s facing and keep living his life as usual.
According to reports, Prince Andrew may be summoned by the court because he was associated with Epstein when the late paedophile was sexually abusing Caroline Kaufman, in December 2010. Caroline who is the plaintiff of the case is asking the court to grant her Epstein’s multi-million dollar estate as compensation for the assaults. Although Andrew may not have to pay out some money this time, his testimony could play a key role in determining the judgement in the case.
However, his involvement in the case will further destroy his relationship with high-ranking royals like his brother Prince Charles and his nephew Prince William. According to reports, the two royals think that Andrew is a bad example for young royals and don’t want him to have anything to do with official royal duties anymore.
