Although, he hasn’t been the best husband, he has some good traits in him; he is a compassionate man which made the fans liked him in the first season, he is always ready to help and contribute to the sisters’ wellbeing. A lot was revealed after he had an interview with The Sun, his true identity was revealed and his followers learnt many things about him such as domestic violence which came as a shocker to them.
It was further revealed Michael and Amy both met at a very tender age, 12 and 8 respectively and they had to experiment adult stuff in Amy’s family basement on her brother’s order. He didn’t exhibit any of these on the show, but the viewers were not convinced he has changed.
It became worse when the doctor advised they shouldn’t have a child immediately Amy had a gastric bypass surgery but they did otherwise and she got pregnant, fans blamed Michael for that act that he could have followed the doctor’s instruction because it wasn’t a good decision. Viewers are looking forward to 1000-lb sisters season 4, but TLC hasn’t made any official statement concerning it.
Amy doubted her appearance because she wants to enjoy the joy of motherhood, she needs to bond more with her child which is a good idea. Viewers haven’t known Michael’s stand but they think he would want to follow his wife’s footstep. Season four will be an opportunity for Michael to be in the fan’s good books by retracing his steps.
