The Blac Chyna versus the Kardashians trial is done and now the legal battle pitting Chyna against Rob Kardashian has been called off. The revenge porn case was supposed to start the jury selection process but the jury pool was told that they weren’t needed for the case.
That doesn’t necessarily mean jury duty is over for them—unless Rob Kardashian versus Blac Chyna was the only trial on the docket. As for why they were dismissed from the case: an agreement both sides could live with was reached.
The Blac Chyna vs. Rob Kardashian Revenge Porn Trial Axed as Both Sides Reached a Settlement
Initially, Kardashian claimed that he and Chyna had come to an agreement where he would help her deal with another case if this one was dropped. He would say that she didn’t keep her end of the deal and things continued. A judge even said that his proof that there was a deal in place to scuttle the case didn’t pass the smell test.
The case hinged on Rob Kardashian posting several private, nude photos of the model/rapper on social media in the summer of 2017. This was months after they had broken up and resulted in Blac Chyna getting a restraining order against him.
This case had stronger legs to stand on than her first run at the Kardashians as unless she agreed to have her nudes posted online, Kardashian engaged in revenge porn. Chyna said that the photos being online impacted both her reputation and her business negatively and was looking for damages that would require millions.
Now, the two appear to have reached a concrete agreement, thus bringing a definite end to the revenge porn case. With that said there are specifics on what agreement the former couple reached.
