It’s getting increasingly difficult for anyone to deny the dominance of The Bloodline in WWE. With Roman Reigns & The Usos having unified the top belts in both the singles and tag team divisions, they have ruled Smackdown Live for the better part of two years. However, there’s another family member in this family lurking in WWE, and it might be time for Solo Sikoa to join his brothers.
Solo Sikoa Has Been Lightly Chasing The North American Championship
Since the reboot of NXT to NXT 2.0, Solo Sikoa has become one of the most popular stars on the brand. He’s taken the fight to anyone who has stepped up, but has had a hard time escaping the shadow of his family. Uso chants during his matches are very common, and considering he’s the brother of Jimmy & Jey Uso, this makes sense.
Recently, he’s been seeking a shot against Carmelo Hayes and the NXT North American Championship. However with Grayson Waller getting the shot at Hayes during the upcoming Great American Bash special? That storyline seems to have been dropped for the time.
Joining The Bloodline Sooner Rather Than Later?
Add in a report from Fightful Select which would say that there are ‘serious discussions’ being had about sending Sikoa to Smackdown Live alongside his brothers and cousin, and his time in NXT might already be at an end. Originally, WWE was even considering having Sikoa completely skip NXT when he was signed.
Nothing has been set in stone for a callup at this time, but Summerslam is generally an event which is followed by fresh faces from NXT showing up on the main roster. Having Sikoa show up as part of Summerslam to help Reigns fend off Brock Lesnar would instantly establish him as the enforcer of The Bloodline, which would be a great role for Sikoa at this stage of his career.
