‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re going to have a character development episode without much in the way of growth, but it’ll move the storylines forward.
With that being said, let’s get to the spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, July 7: Nepotism has its drawbacks
With Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) reassuming her position as CEO of Newman Enterprises, and effectively booting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) aside, Adam’s going to pissed and with good reason.
Everyone knew it was coming, but there was a small glimmer of hope for Adam that he’d show he’s capable of doing the job. Unfortunately, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) won’t care about that.

He’s happy Victoria’s back, and as her consigliere he’s going to remain the power behind the throne. In a way, it’s the perfect title as it’s usually attributed to mafia advisors and Victor sees himself as a Godfather type.
Knowing trouble’s coming, he’s going to attempt to reign Adam in by claiming by accepting what’s happening is good for the family and Victor’s sense of nepotism.
He won’t see how constantly manipulating his children does more harm than good, and while Victoria will always forgive him, Adam won’t and we’ve spent the last year building toward Adam possibly going to the dark side again.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, July 7: Nick’s choice
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is the only family member to sever ties, but he comes running back more than now, especially when it involves Victoria.
So he’s going to be on the fence about coming back to the monster he’s worked so hard to get away from, but there’s going to be a helper from Victoria in his ear.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will point out how it’ll mean the world to Victor and Victoria if he returns, but more so for Victoria.
It’ll be the typical love infused guilt trip and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers won’t be surprised if it works.
Nick may view Victoria as lost in a way as she’s turning into a clone of their father, and he’s the only one that’ll be able to pull her back.
It’ll be a long shot, but then it may be safer for him to walk away from the family again instead of being sucked into it again.
What do you think Nick will decide? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
