Prince Harry has been praised for taking after his late mother Princess Diana as he gears up to make an appearance with Meghan Markle at the UN, New York City.
Prince William BLASTED As Harry Takes After His Mother-‘Prince Harry Continues Princess Diana’s Work, He Is His Mothers Son’
According to reports, the pair will be in attendance on Monday, 18th June 2022. During the course of the process, Harry is expected to speak on issues related to climate change and hunger as part of Nelson Mandela Day.
In an official statement on behalf of the United Nations, a representative said the following: “The South African Mission has confirmed the participation of the Duke and the Duchess at Monday’s commemoration.”
The couple do have connections to Mandela since they happened to have visited his widow Graça Machel all the way back in 2019.
Not only that, but Diana also managed to visit the very man himself (Mandela) in 1997, just five months prior to the tragic car accident which took her life in Paris, France.
And given that the couple were warmly welcomed by Graça, their presence at the UN will be welcomed. In her comments at the time, Graça remarked: “It’s wonderful meeting you. I’m sure we’re going to be working together in the future.
“I can feel the vibe.” These steps have demonstrated that Harry has continued the legacy that his mother was known for, something which was very noticeable by the response on social media.
And a particular focus was on Prince William, whom people felt had failed to honour his mother’s memory. One person wrote: “#Prince Harry continues Princess Diana’s work.
“He is his mothers son,” while another person stated: “Prince William…is the same guy who went on National TV to say his mom, Princess Diana, was Paranoid.”
With Diana no longer here, it is not possible to know how she would have felt about her current sons. But based on the work that Harry is doing, she would have been proud. So there you have it folks.
