Last week, Cora Jade would show her true colours when she would cost Roxanne Perez her chance at winning the NXT Women’s Champion – despite being NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. Tonight, she has chance to explain her actions.
Cora Jade Trashes The Belt
Jade hit the ring, and told the fans to shut the hell up if they wanted to hear what she had to say. She stabbed her best friend in the back, and wish she did it sooner. For the past year, Jade was the face and future of the division, but the second Roxanne Perez got into the company after the help of Jade? The fans would move on from Jade in favor of Perez.
Jade finally found the perfect partner and became a champion with her best friend, but not 30 minutes later? Perez puts her focus on singles glory instead. Jade wanted to make the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships the most important belt in the game, yet Perez instantly moved on.
That proved that Perez was just using Jade to get to WWE, and is just a selfish bitch. She was so self absorbed, that she didn’t even see Jade attack her in the parking lot. The plan was perfect, Jade was gonna shock Mandy Rose and become champion, but Perez of course marched to the ring for the match – and it felt so good for Jade to slam her in the back.
As for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship? That belt represented a lie. She’d throw it in the trash, and said that her career is about to really get started.
Roderick Strong Values A Win Over Diamond Mine
Roderick Strong is ready to prove that he doesn’t need Diamond Mine to win matches. Tonight, he will test the skills of Damon Kemp in the ring, with The Creed Brothers & Ivy Nile staying in the back. It’s mentor vs. student, and Strong is ready to prove his skills are still undisputed.
Kemp would grab the rear waistlock, before taking Strong to the mat with a side headlock. Strong would be able to counter, before taking a twisting bodyslam and jumping elbow drop. Kemp would grab Strong off the mat with a gutwrench suplex, sending Strong to the floor.
Strong would catch Kemp in the ropes, before a gutbuster in the middle of the ring. Some heavy chops would follow, before a vertical suplex in the middle of the ring for a near fall. A jumping stomp would keep the pressure on, before a belly to belly suplex from Kemp.
Slingshot spear would take Strong down, before Tony D’Angelo appeared on the screen, and the D’Angelo family had beaten down the Creed Brothers. Kemp looked to make the save, but Strong hit the knee strike to win before running to their aid.
