Duchess Camilla is not the person who had reportedly made racist comments about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie.
Camilla Denies Making Racist ‘Ginger Afro Hair’ Comments About Harry And Meghan’s Kids-‘Not Racist — I Can Tell You Categorically’
This initially came to the fore when the couple had expressed in their controversial Oprah Winfrey interview that someone in the Royal family had reservations about Archie’s skin colour.
Subsequently, reports emerged that this may have been Prince Charles, something which the ‘Prince of Wales’ later denied. While that may have been the case, the attention quickly turned towards Camilla.
A claim was made by Royal author Tom Bower in his book entitled ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors,’ that Camilla had stated the following: “According to Harry, someone speculated about what his future child would ‘look like.’
“In one version, Camilla remarked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if your child had ginger Afro hair? Subsequently, Meghan’s reaction to that conversation turned Harry’s amusement into fury.”
Nevertheless, sources close to Camilla have denied that she did anything of the sort. A source said: “Camilla is not racist — I can tell you categorically she is not the royal who Harry and Meghan were talking about.”
This begs the question: if it was not Camilla, then which Royal family member could it have been? As of now, there is no way of knowing, coupled with the fact that Harry and Meghan have chosen not to disclose that person’s name.
With that being said, the fans on social media were left frustrated about who should be held accountable. One person wrote: “And I will believe them when they seal the whole investigation and keep it hush, if Harr[y]’s wife was this huge evil person, it would be known and with proof etc.
“I believe them, not some lady that was the side chick.” It is safe to say that we are no closer to knowing the truth of what really happened. So there you have it folks.
