In a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan had his friend and fellow comedian and podcaster Andrew Schulz as his guest. They covered numerous topics in the three-hour conversation, however, one caught the public’s attention the most.
Rogan said that for certain political issues he is a ‘bleeding heart liberal’.
Joe Rogan Tells Critics Who Claim He Is A Republican To ‘S*ck his d*ck’ – ‘I am a bleeding heart liberal!
Joe Rogan is in the limelight for quite some time now, firstly with the interesting topics that he covered on the podcast, then with the controversial characters, he hosted on the podcast and his stance on vaccination, and lastly with his political views. The political view and orientation of the most popular podcaster have been a topic for discussion for a long time now. Many of the critics state that he indeed is a Republican due to his conservative stance on various topics.
“Like I was on welfare as a kid. I think it’s important. I think having a social safety net is crucial. We should help each other. We’re supposed to be one big community. I’m a bleeding-heart liberal when it comes to a lot of s**t.” – Rogan said to Andrew Schulz during a conversation with his friend Andrew.
And he might be telling the truth. Previously he took the stand and countered the conservative views of Texas Senator Ted Cruz. He opposes the senator’s views on gay marriage and states that that way of thinking is ‘clearly wrong’.
“It’s not just abortion rights, but now they’re going after gay marriage too, which is so strange to me,’ the comedian said. ‘Gay marriage is not silly. It’s marriage — it’s marriage from people that are homosexual and it’s, for them, it’s important. They want it.” – Rogan says.
“They want to affirm their love and their relationship. And the fact that they’re going after that now almost makes me feel like they want us to fight. They wanna divide us in the best way they can. And this is the best way for them to keep pulling off all the bulls**t they’re doing behind the scenes is to get us to fight over things like gay marriage or get us to fight over things like abortion. It’s just like, why are you removing freedoms?” – he adds.
“It’s so homophobic. Because you’re saying there’s something wrong with being homosexual by saying that you are opposed to gay marriage. You’re saying you’re opposed to gay people.”
Rogan went further on to explain why he cannot be a Republican. He listed the opposition to gay marriage as one of the top reasons why he can’t support them. He adds that this is only a sign of close-mindedness and he just can’t cope with it.
Rogan continues his rampage and slams people claiming he is a republican.
“You can suck my d**k. You don’t know what the f**k you’re talking about. I’m so far away from being a Republican. Just because I believe in the Second Amendment and just because I support the military and just cause I support the police.” – Rogan attacks his critics.
While many Americans are questioning his decision to move to Texas and connect it to tax issues, he says that this is totally untrue. He says that he likes living in Texas because he has his freedom there.
Rogan makes a considerable amount of money through Spotify’s Joe Rogan Experience. In 2020 he signed a $200 million deal to stay exclusively on the platform.
