That is according to journalist Emma Cowing. Kate may be the elder sibling, but Pippa has taken the headlines by storm of late. She welcomed the arrival of her daughter, Rose, just this month to add to her two other children: Arthur and Grace.
While the two sisters are very close, with reports that Pippa has been a source of support for Kate, it appears that there was some tension between them in their younger years.
In her comments, journalist Emma Cowing said: “While the sisters appear close – they are often pictured holding hands and currently share a flat in Chelsea.
“Although Kate is rumoured to spend most of her time nowadays at Clarence House) – there is, allegedly, some jealousy between the pair.” This begs the question: which sister envied the other?
Well, they both have managed to have done well in their respective lives. They have created stable family units, but sources stress that Middleton was worried that Pippa may have exceeded her success.
But even if that was the case, as long as it did not interfere in their relationship, then there would be nothing to worry about.
A source, though, had an interesting take on it: “Kate was always quite jealous of Pippa. I sensed that she feared being eclipsed by her.
“Because Pippa has more natural effervescence, she is socially much more at ease and was always popular with everyone.” Much in the same way, the fans on social media sensed that there could be tension between the two sisters.
And in the process of doing so, the comments were very derogatory indeed. One person wrote: “Anyone with a brain knows damn well Pippa doesn’t respect or give a damn about Kate’s feelings.”
