Dr. Eric Smith was last seen persuading Tammy to register in a rehab, and she obliged at the end of season 3, and according to reports, she has improved during her stay in the rehab. Due to Tammy’s progress she became eligible for her bariatric surgery, all thanks to Dr. Smith. Now, the friendly doctor is excited to share a sneak peek of his surgery tools to curious fans.
In his Instagram post, he started “Let’s talk about robotic surgery,” and went further to explain “It might look like I’m playing a video game here, but really I’m performing minimally invasive, life-changing surgery. Robotic surgery gives surgeons like myself better vision, more precision and full wristed motion beyond the human hand in comparison to traditional laparoscopic surgery.”
The 1000-Lb Sisters surgeon talked more on the usefulness of robotic surgery for his patients, such as faster recovery time and less post-op pain. Fans are curious to know if Tammy had a robotic surgery. If eventually, Tammy features in another season, she would sure spill the beans.
Tammy once revealed that due to her NDA with TLC , she can’t reveal much details about her surgery. With this, some fans are rest assured that she will feature in the fourth season.
