Military Man Failed To Help Meghan Markle As Her Wedding Dress Got Stuck In Car On Her Big Day-‘She Had Been Very Rude To Him’
That is according to royal author Tom Bower. It is alleged that Meghan struggled to cope with the dress once she exited the car in order to make her way to the wedding venue. It is stressed that her dress had gotten caught up in the vehicle.
Footage from the wedding reportedly shows Meghan’s veil had become twisted in the vehicle. Thereafter, designer Clare Waight Keller ran over to help Meghan.
But a military member, whose job was to open the door for Meghan, apparently did not help on the basis that she had been rude to him during the rehearsals for the wedding.
In his comments on the ‘Mirror’s Pod Save the Queen’ podcast, Tom said: “The army officer doesn’t step forward to help her.
“And the reason is, is the day before in the rehearsal, she had been very rude to him so he thought ‘well I’m not going to help you today.”
Nevertheless, these comments have to be taken with a pinch of salt. Tom admitted that he did not speak to the military person directly.
Therefore, there is a possibility that this account may not be entirely accurate. Tom added: “I didn’t get the story from him but a fellow officer of his, who explained what had happened.”
Secondly, the footage appears to show a man offering Meghan help, but she refuses his assistance by moving his hand away. The fans had a lot to say in the comments section of the video.
And in doing so, they slammed Markle’s lack of graceful conduct. One person wrote: “DS pushed the helping gentlemans hand away, how rude and ungracious.
“He almost fell after losing his balance, in her eagerness to get to the elderly man to shake his hand, he must have been a VIP.”
