Queen Elizabeth II had failed to wish Meghan Markle a happy 41st birthday which has raised some talking points.

It is no secret that relations between Meghan and the Royal family are not the best. This was most recently seen on her return to the UK for the monarch’s Platinum Jubilee.
During the course of this process, the Queen had reportedly banned Prince Harry and Meghan from taking pictures of her private meeting with their daughter Lilibet. Much in the same way, the monarch failed to send any warm words to Meghan on social media.
This became more noticeable, especially since Kate Middleton and Prince William had done so, despite claims that the former had made Meghan cry in the run-up to her wedding.
And the failure of the Queen to act was picked up on social media. One person wrote: “The fact that the Queen has opted to not give Meghan Markle a public birthday wish today speaks VOLUMES.
“It is evident that even Her Majesty the Queen (who has the patience of a saint) is fed up with all of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s victim-playing drama and lies.”
Nevertheless, not everybody saw things this way. Royal expert Richard Palmer had a different take on the matter.
Rather than viewing this as a sign that the Queen had bad intentions towards the Duchess of Sussex, he was of the view that the Queen would have sent some warm words in private.
Even if that was the case, William and Kate declared it publicly, which does raise question marks over the Queen’s motives. In his comments, Richard stated: “It is thought the Queen congratulated Meghan privately yesterday.
“But her official website neglected to mention her birthday after deciding it will only mark the birthdays of non-working members of the family when they end in a zero.”
