Meghan Markle has been branded a D-list actress in a brutal attack.
Candace Owens Blasts ‘Hollywood Star’ Meghan Markle-‘This D-List Actress That Nobody Knew’
That is according to US commentator Candace Owens. These comments arrived on the back end of Meghan’s claims that someone in the Royal family had made racist remarks about her and Harry’s son Archie.
And given that this was such a major claim, Candace could not understand why Meghan had decided to approach this in the way that she did publicly.
In her comments, she said: “This is a Hollywood star going into a country that loves its traditions and then accusing them of being fundamentally racist.
“It’s the height of ignorance to me to have this D-list actress that nobody knew go over there.” Things have not been helped by the failure of the couple to identify which person had made those remarks.
In the aftermath, reports had emerged which casted a negative light on Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla, both of whom have denied being responsible.
Therefore, Candace felt that the issue of race was simply being exploited to create headlines, which she had no time for. Her following comments confirmed as much: “I think we’re just tired of the race narrative here in America.
“And it’s just obnoxious that we’ve sent this girl to start the same thing overseas.” In Meghan’s defence, racism has been something that has tarnished the Royal family throughout the years.
The late Prince Philip did not help the institution, in that regard, after having built up quite a collection of public gaffes that were deemed to be racist. The social media response was damning towards Meghan, though.
People were of the view that Meghan’s opinions were no longer welcome. After all, she was no longer in the Royal family. One person wrote: “Meghan Dumbarton needs to take a good look at herself.
“No one wants her or her opinions in the UK. Go anywhere you like but don’t come to the UK.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
