A fan has praised Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following a meeting with the couple.
Fan Praises ‘Amazing’ Harry And Meghan-‘We Truly Support You’
The couple are often accused of engaging in publicity stunts in order to improve their image following their controversial Oprah Winfrey interview. But this time around, things appeared very genuine to say the least.
Esther Agbarakwe, who happens to work for the United Nations as a programme officer, had the opportunity to meet the couple firsthand.
This was alleged to have occurred at the Global Citizen Live festival last year. In a post on Twitter, Esther shared a picture of Meghan meeting Eddie Ndopu, a disability advocate and UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Meghan Markle x @AminaJMohammed x @eddiendopu. Respect. Compassion. Service. #GlobalGoals,” to which a fan added: “It was amazing meeting her and her husband earlier this year.”
It is quite clear that Harry and Meghan are slowly delving into the world of politics step-by-step. The couple were also in attendance at the UN during ‘Nelson Mandela International Day.’
During the course of that process, Harry gave a speech addressing various topics, such as climate change and even Roe v Wade.
In his speech at the time, Harry remarked: “How many of us feel battered, helpless, in the face of a seemingly endless stream of disasters and devastation? This has been a painful year in a painful decade.”
That shift towards a more positive view of the couple has begun to infiltrate through onto social media. A large number of people came out to compliment the couple for taking their time out and giving back to the community.
One person wrote: “All Sussex Squad is glad this is what you have to say about the meeting, and we truly support you! We all know pretty well how amazing Meghan is, so thank you for confirming and sharing that!”
While another person stated: “She always seems so absolutely lovely… thanks for sharing.” Is Meghan starting to resonate with more people? So there you have it folks.
