It is no secret that Harry does have a colourful past to say the least. He was infamously pictured partying with a Nazi uniform which drew mass condemnation.
Meanwhile, former stripper Carrie Reichert once spoke on how Harry gave her his underpants, which she then later went on to use in some strip-tease routines.
And Harry’s past is something that Meghan was fully aware of. But rather than this putting her off, it merely went on to attract her more towards the Duke of Sussex.
A source confirmed the following: “[She liked his] bad boy [image]. Meghan knows Harry had a very lively past.
“She wouldn’t have found him nearly as appealing if he hadn’t lived life to the full and got everything out of his system before they settled down and committed to a long-term future.”
If those comments are taken to be true, then they are very significant for the following reasons. First of all, it demonstrates that Meghan perhaps felt confident that she could have persuaded Harry to leave the Royal family when he eventually did so.
Secondly, it could also reinforce why the pair are suited to each other. After all, they do have a tendency to take risks. This was most summed up when the pair aired their controversial Oprah Winfrey interview.
And this is perhaps a side that the public will see more of in light of Harry’s upcoming tell-all memoir. It is expected to hit the shelves at the back end of this year, and it promises to give an unfiltered account of Harry, now that he is no longer at the behest of the Royal family.
The publisher Penguin Random House at the time remarked the following: “In an intimate and heartfelt memoir from one of the most fascinating and influential global figures of our time, Prince Harry will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.”
