Meghan Markle has been bashed over her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Those were the feelings of historian Lady Antonia Fraser. The interview forever changed the dynamics between Prince Harry, Meghan and the Royal family as there were groundbreaking allegations that could not be swept under the carpet.
This included accusations that someone had reservations about their son Archie’s skin colour. Meanwhile, Meghan also admitted that she was having suicidal thoughts during her time in the Royal family.
And to top things off, Markle suggested that Kate Middleton made her cry in the run-up to her wedding. And with so many things that were revealed to the public, the interview has done an unprecedented amount of damage.
In her comments, Lady Fraser said: “Now I’m afraid [appearing on] Oprah Winfrey was worse than a crime; it was a mistake. I just wish vainly she’d shut up. And Prince Harry. And Prince Andrew.”
Nevertheless, any chances of the couple staying quiet are slim. Harry’s tell-all memoir is set to come out this year, which could see him coming out with further revelations over some of the things that were not addressed.
This includes the obvious question mark of who was the person that made those racial comments surrounding Archie? After all, now that this was out in the public domain, it would create more damage by keeping this a secret.
After all, it would forever cast doubt on members of the Royal family. However, by revealing the identity of that said person, it could equally do as much damage if not more.
And yet, there are other reasons for Harry and Meghan to continue speaking out. Tom Bower’s book ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between Windsors,’ has cast doubts on the character of the couple.
It addressed some of the claims in the Oprah interview. And one such claim was Tom’s belief that Meghan had made Kate cry, as opposed to it being the other way around which the ‘Duchess of Sussex’ claimed.
