Meghan Markle allegedly has a grudge against singer Katy Perry.
Meghan Markle Hates Katy Perry After She Dissed Her Wedding Dress-‘Meghan Felt Under Siege At That Time’
This claim is in relation to comments that Katy had apparently made about Meghan’s wedding dress. The Duchess of Sussex married Prince Harry in 2018, but the talk centred around the wedding dress which became a contentious point.
This is particularly true since Harry has managed to forge a close relationship with none other than actor Orlando Bloom. The former just so happens to be Perry’s fiancé.
But the relations with Katy were not as strong after the star had apparently stated that Meghan’s dress could have “done one more fitting.” That is why sources stress that Meghan has not been left with a good impression of Katy.
A source confirmed the following: “Orlando is very sympathetic towards Harry and Meghan and does reach out if he ever sees anything suspicious in the neighbourhood.
“However, Meghan is keenly aware of a comment that Katy Perry made in 2018 about her wedding dress and is notorious for holding a grudge.”
Nevertheless, those comments have to be taken with a pinch of salt. First of all, it has been around four years since the couple got married. Therefore, with time it is natural for both sides to have moved on.
This is most likely to have happened, as it is hard to envisage Harry being on good terms with Orlando, without Meghan acknowledging Katy.
Secondly, by all accounts, Meghan’s reaction at the time was not a true reflection of herself since she did have a lot on her plate.
The source’s following comments confirmed as much: “While the comment wasn’t meant to be hurtful, Meghan felt under siege at that time and was overwhelmed by arguments with staff, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Thomas Markle.”
In hindsight, Meghan’s wedding went down well. And that is the most important thing even if the dress failed to please everyone. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
