Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not achieved anything substantial following their exit from the Royal family.

That is according to royal expert Daniela Elser. Harry and Meghan’s success ultimately has to be judged based on the goals at hand.
They made it clear that they could not tolerate the media scrutiny that characterised their time during the Royal family which played out in their controversial Oprah Winfrey interview.
So the fact that they have managed to raise their children away from the media spotlight, coupled with the fact that they have gotten a degree of independence as shown by their Spotify and Netflix deals, they have been a success in some part.
While that may be the case, the couple have failed in other areas. Their attempts at breaking into US politics have failed, while their brand post the Royal family has failed to reach new heights.
In her comments, Daniela said: “The bottom line is Harry and Meghan have proven totally unsuccessful at making themselves matter in the corridors of power in Washington, New York, Silicon Valley or Los Angeles.”
But that was not the only source of concern. Daniela expanded on whether the couple’s Netflix docuseries could actually deliver. After all, now that they are no longer a part of the Royal family, they have not been able to showcase that side of their life to the public.
This may explain why the couple are coming back to the UK next month even if the visit has been justified on the grounds of their charity work. And all of this has left the future uncertain for the couple.
Daniela’s following comments confirmed as much: “If they fail to live up to the hype and the rhetoric, the huge sums being touted and all those lovely millions supposedly coming their way could dry up faster than a Californian lake.”
