Meghan Markle was reportedly devastated by the news that her Netflix animated series ,Pearl, was canceled.
Meghan Markle Was Devastated After Netflix Cancelled Her Animated Series ‘Pearl’-‘It Was Very Embarrassing,’ Says Royal Expert Neil Sean
That is according to royal expert Neil Sean. The series was allegedly going to be based around the life of a 12-year-old girl who was inspired by some of the most influential women that ever existed in history.
While this was an ambitious project on Meghan’s part, the harsh reality is that the cancellation ended up doing her extensive damage.
It raised serious question marks over the Duchess of Sussex’s brand, with people even beginning to speculate on whether future projects would follow with a similar fate. After all, Prince Harry and Meghan’s content has been few and far between.
In his comments, Neil said: “The Pearl thing really hit Meghan very hard because it was very embarrassing wasn’t it for them.
“And then for them to have to remove it even though it was in the public domain and everybody knew, now they’re basically stating that they don’t want to put anything on the website.”

Nevertheless, Harry and Meghan have an opportunity to redeem themselves. Their Netflix docuseries could be a hit if they include content that resonates with the public.
This could include their wedding vow renewals after reports claim that they would do this in the United States. In addition, their visit to the UK next month for the ‘One World Young Summit’ and the ‘WellChildAwards’ could also be included.
And yet, Neil felt the pair were struggling to find their feet. His following comments confirmed as much: “Bosses like Netflix that are with millions and billions are ruthless.
“And once they decide that you’re no longer useful to them, they will find out very soon that the axe could simply fall on all projects from the Archewell company.”
Time will tell how Harry and Meghan’s future endeavours end up going. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
