Meghan Markle did not listen to Prince Harry when he tried to explain to her what life in the Royal Family was going to be like.
Meghan Markle Did Not Listen To Harry’s Advice About Living In The Royal Family-‘That Is A Smack At Harry And A Punch To The Royal Family,’ Says Royal Expert Angela Levin
That is according to Royal expert Angela Levin. This comment was in response to the revelations made by Markle on her Spotify podcast entitled, ‘Archetypes.’
During the course of this process, Meghan admitted that ambition was not viewed negatively until she began dating Harry.
But since being in the Royal Family requires one to give up any hopes of stardom in favour of carrying out duties, this did not sit well with Markle.
But for Angela, she felt this demonstrated Meghan’s lack of selflessness. And in the process, it was a slap in the face to Harry who had dedicated his life to public service.
In her comments, Angel said: “She thought it was normal to be ambitious… My goodness, that is a smack at Harry and a punch to the Royal Family.
“Harry told her about life in the Royal Family, but she obviously did not want to listen.” Those comments do hold some weight when we look at Meghan’s life prior to meeting Harry.

Reports indicate that she was a self-made millionaire, which at the very least shows that Meghan does have the drive. Not only that, but it is also claimed that she had dreams of becoming a celebrity chef in the UK even if that did not materialise.
So the fact that none of these things would have been of relevance to the Royal Family justified Angela’s comments. And yet, the fans on social media had a different point of view.
They were of the view that Meghan was empowering women and showing them how to pursue their ambitions. One person wrote: “Identifying and dismantling tropes meant to discourage and control women.
“Meghan urges them not to let anyone rob them of their ambition, encouraging the fullest exploration of their divine potential.”
