After losing to Bron Breakker at Worlds Collide – everyone is wondering what is next for Tyler Bate. The match was the end of NXT UK as we knew it, with Breakker unifying the NXT UK Championship with the NXT Championship. Bate would hit the ring to start NXT 2.0 this week, and would look to give some answers to fans in attendance.
Tyler Bate Gets Some Help Against Gallus
Bate would thank the NXT fans from the bottom of his heart, for the incredible crowd that was in the arena on Sunday, and who backed NXT UK from the beginning. He would also thank Bron Breakker – who was the better man on Sunday, and it was a beautiful moment. Bate will go down in history as the first and last NXT UK Champion, and hopes he represented NXT UK to the best of his abilities.
Gallus would hit the scene and demand an apology for everyone back home in the UK for letting them down. He let the fans down, the wrestlers down, and the brand down. Whatever happened to the Big Strong Boy? While Bate didn’t win, neither did Gallus – failing to unify the NXT UK & NXT Tag Team Championships, so much for Gallus boys on top.
Joe Coffey would step into the ring, and remind him that it was three on one – and they’d jump him. The music of Bron Breakker hit, and he’d run through Wolfgang & Mark Coffey on his way to a big suplex to Joe Coffey. Breakker said they’ve caused nothing but problems – and while on Sunday, Worlds Collided – tonight they unite. Later tonight, Breakker & Bate vs. Gallus in the main event.
Toxic Attraction Get Crushed By Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H
At Worlds Collide, the only thing that cost Nikki A.S.H & Doudrop the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships was the interference of Toxic Attraction. It became clear that Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne were trying to make a name for themselves off the backs of two world-travelled veterans. However, all they’re going to get from this is as A.S.H Kicking.
Nikki would start fast, driving Dolin into the corner before some elbow strikes. A dropdown lariat would land, before Doudrop got the tag and hit an elbow drop for the two count. Nikki tagged back in and was dropped, before Jayne hit some mocking offence on her. The former RAW Women’s Champion would go to the top rope, and was shoved hard down to the mat before Jayne followed with a cannonball senton.
Doudrop tried to make the save, but took a PK off the apron. Back in the ring, Toxic Attraction would keep the pressure on Nikki – cutting the ring in half throughout the commercial break. Nikki would look to break free, but was driven into the corner before taking a Bronco Buster.
A missed running senton from Jayne opened up a tag, and Doudrop would stack Toxic Attraction and hit an elbow drop. Backdrop driver would set up the cannonball in the corner, before the Vader Bomb for a two count – Jayne breaking things up. A rushing crossbody would land – and Doudrop got the victory.
