The past few months have been really rough on 90 Day Fiancé’s Paul Staehle – from dealing with his rough marriage to being accused of kidnapping his own son. Recently, the father of two had a near-death experience.
Paul had traveled to Brazil to reconnect with his friends and have fun. When he decided to go swim in the water, he was pulled in under rough current. Paul almost lost his life after took in excess water. Thankfully, he was rescued by good Samaritans before he drowned. The 90 Day Fiancé star was immediately taken to the ER after he was rescued. The doctors said that he was lucky to have survived.

An x-ray was carried out, and the doctors discovered a lung infection, which was quickly treated with an antibiotics to prevent future issues. Despite his condition, Paul Staehle felt the need to share his experience with his fans. He posted several pictures on Instagram. Some of the pictures showed the water while others were of him in the hospital.
He posted a short video of himself in his hospital bed looking tired and exhausted. Next, he took to his Instagram stories to share how he has been taking a whole lot of water. Finally, he appreciated everyone for their concern and revealed that he was placed on a lot of antibiotics.
Paul has been through a lot. Perhaps, this was why he decided to take a break and hangout with his friends. In July, he countered the claim that he kidnapped his son, Pierre. There were missing person pictures of his young son and it was stated that the little was last seen with his father.
However, he needed to address the rumor. Apparently, he took his oldest son with him on a job hunt between Florida and Pennsylvania. Fans know that he has also ad a rough marriage with his wife, Karine.
