’90 Day Fiancé’: Kim Menzies’ Mom Passes Away
The current 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7 tells us that Kim is going to Nigeria to propose to Usman Umar, and the Nigerian man himself is ready to marry his older girlfriend, move to America, and marry a second wife since Kim will not be having a child for him. Meanwhile, before traveling Nigeria, Kim tells her mom, Sally, and son, Jamal, in episode 2 about her K-1 visa plans for her boyfriend.
While her son didn’t trust Usman, her mother just wants her to be happy. “I’ve never seen her so in love with anybody,” Sally explained, and said that she didn’t want to see her daughter get hurt because she puts her heart in all the way. Kin told her mom and her son that when Usman comes to America, she would meet him and see that he is a good man,.
Unfortunately, Kim lost her mom before Usman came to America. Kim’s mom passed away in January this year when 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 was still on air. She talked about how she became her mom’s primary caregiver after rheumatoid arthritis left her completely immobile. Kim also took to Instagram to thank her fans for the love they showed her. “Thank you to everyone who has sent a DM saying they’re thinking of us as they watch the episode with my Mom.”
The reality TV star shared a beautiful picture of her son, Jamal and her mom, Sally, which appeared to have been taken on the same day the scene was filmed. She shared that her mother was a beautiful woman inside and out and showed her love and support without judging her. “I miss you Mommy,” she wrote.
In another Instagram update, she reposted the scene from 90 Day Fiancé’s Instagram page and captioned it with, “My mom looks beautiful here,” and said that it made her heart “happy and sad” at the same time. Usman Umar also shared a screenshot of a video call between him and Kim’s mother, Sally while offering his condolences. It seems the Nigerian artist received her blessings before she passed away.
