Prince William and Kate Middleton have spoken out following their new royal titles of Prince of Wales and Princess of Wales respectively.
William And Kate Looking Forward To Being Prince And Princess Of Wales-‘The Couple Are Focused’
The couple will be following in the footsteps of Queen Consort Camilla Parker Bowles and King Charles III, who occupied those titles previously during the late Queen Elizabeth’s reign.
They could not be in a better position to carry out their roles after having witnessed Charles and Camilla do so.
Although it is understandable that the family will be mourning following the recent passing, that has not stopped William and Kate from focusing on the task at hand.
And by the looks of it, they want to leave a legacy as they have done so in their previous roles. A source confirmed the following: “The couple are focused on deepening the trust and respect of the people of Wales over time.
“The Prince and Princess of Wales will approach their roles in the modest and humble way they’ve approached their work previously.”
Nevertheless, the couple have an opportunity to do things differently. Charles and Camilla have been tarnished by the affair that occurred during the former’s marriage to the late Princess Diana.
In contrast, William and Kate’s marriage has been fairly stable with the only grumblings of discontent following rumours that William had cheated with Rose Hanbury.
Therefore, the couple are already more popular with the public which will make that transition into the new role a lot easier. With that being said, they hope to bring something new to the role too.
The following comments confirmed as much: “The new Princess of Wales appreciates the history associated with this role but will understandably want to look to the future as she creates her own path.”
Time will tell how William and Kate perform their new roles, but based on their prior track record, they are in a very good place.
