Prince Louis has reacted to the news of his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s death.
Prince Louis Speaks Out Following His Great-Grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s Death-‘At Least Grannie Is With Great-Grandpa Now’
The young royal was not there during the final moments since he had just started school. Not only that, but it would have been highly inappropriate to bring a young child into that environment which is why the current Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, stayed behind with the children.
But now that the dust has settled, coupled with the fact that the funeral arrangements are taking place behind the scenes, Kate let everyone know just how Louis reacted to the news.
In her comments, she said: “[Louis said,] ‘At least Grannie is with Great-Grandpa now.” It has been a very troubling time for the firm since the two critical members of the institution passed away.
Prince Philip also died in 2021 and his death was clouded by the timing of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s controversial Oprah Winfrey interview.
Much in the same way, the Queen’s passing was also clouded by Meghan’s recent interview with ‘The Cut.’ But it seems that Prince William put aside any differences that the family had by extending an olive branch to the Sussexes.
That is the reason why all four of them walked together in order to pay the monarch their respects at Windsor. A source said: “William invited Harry and Meghan to join them.”
The fans on social media were in awe of Louis’ reaction. And in the process of doing so, they could not help but feel the same too.
One person wrote: “Awwww I teared up too xxx,” while another person stated: “Oh Prince Louis.” It is clearly going to be a difficult period for the young royals.
But they did manage to forge many memories with the monarch, and those are things they can hold on to as they grow older.
And with a strong support network by their side, they are in a better position to overcome any obstacles that may come their way.
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
