Right now, the roster of All Elite Wrestling is one of the strongest in the world today. It’s full of well respected veterans and rising stars alike, with some of the greatest minds in the industry helping to guide the less experienced backstage. It’s one that will stand the test of time due to a lot of young names, and one of those will soon be Nick Wayne. Offered a contract that will come into effect once he hits 18, Nick Wayne is considered a prodigy in professional wrestling – and has lofty goals for his coming career.

Nick Wayne Wants To Do Everything Possible In AEW

While speaking on the All Real Wrestling podcast, 17 year old Nick Wayne would have a chance to get excited about his future within All Elite Wrestling. When asked about his goals in the company, he’d respond with the following.

“AEW, since that’s where I’m heading once I turn 18, I would love to spend as much time as I can there. I would love to do everything there is to do in AEW. Whether that be winning their World Title, their TNT Title, or their Tag Team Title, I want to do everything. I want to wrestle their top guys, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, I want to do everything there is to possibly do in AEW.”

Nick Wayne will turn 18 in June of 2023, putting some time between him and his AEW debut. He was offered his contract at just 16 years old, and remains very active on the indies – working matches against the likes of Will Ospreay, Joey Janela & Swerve Strickland. He’s not the youngest to be offered an AEW contract technically, due to the son of the late Brodie Lee – known to AEW fans as Negative One was offered a contract to kick in at 18 at just 10 years old.

Already Wanting To Start Giving Back To The Industry

While Nick Wayne might be the young star now being lifted up by those more experienced in the industry, he hopes to pay back that favour when he’s a bit older in his career. During the same podcast appearance, he would say the following about wanting to give back in the future.

Also, a very big one that I’m starting to do, or that I’ve been doing these past few months, but I think it’ll definitely mean a lot more when I’m older, is giving back to pro wrestling and give back to the younger guys in this business. I really want to just influence the younger guys — I know, I’m kind of like the very youngest right now, being 17. But once I’m older, in my 20s and 30s, I would just love if I could coach or teach or just be able to influence the younger generation of wrestling and, really give back, like what people now are doing with me. I would love to give back to the newer generation coming.”

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
