Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could bring their children, Archie and Lilibet, to Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.
Harry And Meghan’s Kids Could Attend Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral
The couple have allegedly confirmed that they will stay in the country for the sake of the funeral. At the moment their children are in California with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland.
Therefore, there will have to be arrangements made in order to see whether the children can fly out. And if that does end up happening, it would be another sign that perhaps relations between the Sussexes and the royals could get better.
This is especially given the reaction by the crowd to seeing Harry, Meghan, Prince William and Kate Middleton walking together to pay their respects for the late Queen.
One such mourner was alleged to have said the following: “I’m pleased that they came out together and as a family I’m delighted that they all took the time to come and say hello to the crowds.
Sad things like funerals bring families together.” Nevertheless, there is also another point to consider. Harry has made it clear that he does have security concerns when it comes to bringing his children to the UK.
As such, if that is the case, this has to be something that is navigated. But in any event, given that it is the Queen’s funeral, there is most likely going to be tough security measures in place to ensure that the ceremony is not disrupted.
The fans on social media were not convinced that this was a good idea. This was on the basis that the couple’s children were kept out of the limelight.
As such, they did not manage to have a strong relationship with the Queen unlike William and Kate’s kids. One person wrote: “It would be pointless indeed. Apart from their ages, they didn’t even know Her Majesty.”
We will have to see how this will play out going forward. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
