Prince Harry was reportedly excluded from a dinner that was held in light of King Charles III becoming the head of the firm. Rumors are that the exclusion was made because of Prince Harry’s relationship with Meghan Markle who has been voicing criticism towards the Royal Family lately on her archetypes podcast.
Prince Harry Was Excluded From A Dinner Following King Charles III Becoming Head Of The Firm
According to reports, Prince William was invited to the dinner since he is next in line to the throne. This was evidently made clear in Charles’ first speech after becoming King when he referred to William as his ‘heir,’ while he referred to Harry and Meghan Markle without their titles.
And this was all part of the process of creating a clear division between those who were working royals in comparison with others.
A source confirmed the following: “Two dinners were being hosted on the royal estate that night and there was a clear divide: One was for the new king and his heir, the other was for the rest of the family.”
This does have credence when we look at the manner in which Harry arrived and left Balmoral. He reportedly made his own way there, while leaving very early in the hours of the morning by himself.
This was a clear indication that there was a division between Harry and the royals especially since Charles made it clear that he wished Harry and Meghan well with their ‘lives overseas’ amid his first address to the nation.
Having said that, though, the Sussexes did join William and Kate Middleton in showing respect to Queen Elizabeth II following her death.
But it seems that this was done by William, as it was necessary to avoid any further controversy being subjected to the family.
The following comments confirmed as much: “[William] thought it was an important show of unity at an incredibly difficult time for the family.”
Ultimately, it will take some time before Harry can mend relations with his family. But if there is ever going to be a time where this does happen, then the passing of the Queen may give the family an opportunity to do just that.
Time will tell whether that does end up happening. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
