Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte are coping following the passing of their great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.
Prince William’s Kids Are ‘Doing Ok’ Following The Passing Of Queen Elizabeth II
Her death coincided with the children starting their new school in Lambrook School, Berkshire. And as part of that process, they had a lot to adjust to after having recently moved into Adelaide Cottage.
So the fact that the late monarch’s passing occurred in and amongst these changes could have overwhelmed the children. And yet, their father Prince William let everyone know that they are doing just fine.
As members of the public were waiting in order to see the coffin of Queen Elizabeth, the ‘Prince of Wales’ was in conversation with members of the crowd. That is when he stated that they were “doing ok,” as well as receiving extra support at school.
This is something that William is entirely aware of after having been young when his mother, Princess Diana, tragically died in a car accident in Paris, France.
While his children were younger than he was, coupled with the fact that the monarch’s passing was not in tragic circumstances such as Dianas, the outcome is still the same in that the family will have to heal.
But with a huge source of public support that has emerged since the late monarch’s passing, William can be rest assured that the British public are fully behind him. The fans on social media expressed sympathy for the children.
People understood that this was a very difficult period for them, as it would have been extremely difficult to explain what would have happened regardless of the way that it was put across.
One person wrote: “I was 8 when we buried my dad and it’s something I’ve never forgotten in all these years. Best they remember their gran gran as she was.”
Hopefully, with time, the whole family can heal from this and remember the positive memories they all shared. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
