In 2021, a video of Karine allegedly assaulting Paul went viral on social media. After the unfortunate incident, the couple seemingly lost custody of their children. At first, it appeared that Paul had won full custody of the kids in December 2021, but the kids are currently with Child Protection Services after the court considered their parents unfit for parenting.

In early June, it was reported that the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children sent out a missing person’s alert for Pierre Staehle. Paul’s picture was also included in the now-deleted bulletin. Eventually, announced that he wasn’t missing but was on a work trip with his son until he returned him on July 3. Fans were however shocked that unlike Paul, Karine didn’t bother to address the drama.
She chose to entertain her fans by posting glam videos on Instagram, and when they accused her of being irresponsible, she claimed that she wasn’t allowed to talk about the situation online. Now, the mother of two has taken to Instagram to share details about the custody of her kids. She posted a sweet video of her and her sons playing and captioned it with, “I come here to say that my children are not with me yet, but I can see them.”
The mother of two said that she “can’t take it anymore,” because there are times when she feels like sharing what the three of them are going through. She further assured fans that she has always been a “good mother” but also that she’s “going through it.” “My children suffer too,” Karine added, then told her little ones that “I will never stop fighting for you two.
Pierre and Ethan, you are my life.” Fans took to the comment section to show her support, telling her not to give up. Viewers are hoping that things will work out in the best interest in the Staehle kids. More fans are also siding with the mom of two ad begging her to avoid Paul so that the kids will be safe.
