Prince William was reportedly relieved when his brother Prince Harry moved overseas to the United States in 2020.
Prince William Was Relieved When Harry Left The UK-No Longer Had To Deal With Meghan’s ‘Drama’
This claim centres around the fact that there was reportedly tension between the brothers’ respective spouses: Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. This was most notably seen with conflicting reports concerning who had made the other person cry.
Meghan in her Oprah Winfrey interview suggested that it was Kate, while Tom Bower maintains that the opposite had happened. With that being said, William was apparently relieved that there would no longer be any major drama on home soil.
A source confirmed the following: “He and Kate were pleased that the drama was over. He further stated that to this date William cannot forgive his brother.”
This tension was seen between Kate and Meghan during the Fab Four’s recent reunion at Windsor in order to pay their respects for the late Queen Elizabeth II.
During the course of that process, it was clear that Kate and Meghan were not on good terms. There was no communication between them, while body language expert Katia Loisal stressed that the tension was palpable.
In her comments at the time, she remarked: “On numerous occasions Meghan looked over at Kate, however, the gaze wasn’t reciprocated. [Kate] look[ed] through [her].”
The fans on social media had a different take on the matter. A certain subset of people were of the view that Harry had plenty of reasons to leave the firm. Therefore, if there was anyone that was relieved, then it had to be the Duke of Sussex.
One person wrote: “William is a joke and an instigator of the drama. I’m sure Harry is more than relieved to be out of the snake pit. The royal Kardashians are a disgrace. Diana would be proud of Harry for getting out.”
It is fair to say that there is still a long way to go before the brothers can get back on good terms. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
