That is according to royal expert Kate Nicholl. The two brothers have not been on good terms, which coincided with the introduction of Meghan Markle into Harry’s life.
Reports indicated that William was hesitant over his brother’s decision to marry Meghan on the basis that he was rushing into things.
Not only that, but the couple’s controversial Oprah Winfrey interview with a series of damaging allegations against the firm was done publicly at a time where the late Prince Philip’s health was deteriorating.
And after having had so much aired in the public eye, William has allegedly not forgiven his brother over how he acted. In her comments, Katie said: “[William] simply can’t forgive.
“He always thought Harry would be his wingman, now he’s doing it on his own. Thank goodness he’s got Kate by his side.” Things have also not been held by Meghan’s revelations since then.
During the course of her interview with ‘The Cut,’ she let on that she had a journal during her time in the Royal Family.
Not only that, but the Duchess of Sussex has made it clear that she did not sign a non-disclosure agreement during her time in the firm which would allow her to say what she wanted.
And with Harry’s tell-all memoir expected to come out very soon, there are understandably some reservations on William’s part. The fans on social media had a different take on the matter.
A certain subset of people were of the view that William had to let things go in order for a reconciliation. And in the process of doing so, they bashed the Prince of Wales.
One person wrote: “William is terribly obnoxious and selfish to believe Harry should give up his life and be eternally beholden to him.”
