Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have been accused of snubbing each other during their recent meeting in the UK.

That is according to royal expert Russell Myers. The Duchess of Sussex and the Princess of Wales came across each other when the Fab Four united as they paid their respects for the late Queen Elizabeth II.
During the course of that process, the tensions were visible as Kate and Meghan did not exchange any words, while Prince William and Prince Harry looked a lot more comfortable.
In his comments, Russel said: “Sources have said the Princess of Wales and Meghan were ‘not known’ to have exchanged words throughout the whole period that the Sussexes were in the U.K.”
This should not come as a surprise since it is claimed that Kate was allegedly waiting for an apology over Meghan’s controversial Oprah Winfrey interview.
That is where the Duchess of Sussex claimed Kate made her cry in the run up to her wedding, while Tom Bower suggests the opposite had happened.
Not only that, but Meghan’s controversial interview with ‘The Cut’ coincided with the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. And that ultimately would have added an unnecessary strain on William, much to the annoyance of Kate.
And yet, by Meghan issuing an apology, it would inadvertently suggest that her claims in the Oprah Winfrey interview unsubstantiated.
After all, if they were true, there would be no reason to apologise. This may explain why an apology has not been forthcoming. The fans on social media were not shocked to see this happen.
A certain subset of people felt there was simply too much water under the bridge. One person wrote: “Why so much people are surprised…Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle…dislike each other lol.”
