A picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle holding hands in the UK has been released.
Harry And Meghan SHADE Royals As Photo Released Showing Them Holding Hands
The image was centred around the pair’s recent UK visit which was clouded by the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. And it arrives in the aftermath of Buckingham Palace releasing their own portrait which showcased a new ‘Fab Four.’
This included Prince William, Kate Middleton, Queen Consort Camilla and King Charles III. With that being said, the following image could be seen as an attempt to show just how united the pair are in their lives.
In the picture here, we can see Harry and Meghan with massive smiles on their faces. Meghan is wearing a red dress, while Harry is donning a suit. They can be seen interlocking their hands together, as they look into the distance.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “The Duke & Duchess of Sussex moments before attending the opening ceremony of @OneYoungWorld last month.”
The image was quite telling for the following reasons. First of all, the timing of it suggests that it was an attempt to hit back at the firm. After all, their portrait of the new Fab Four was only released shortly prior to this.
Secondly, it is also important to remember that the pair had a lot of controversy prior to Queen Elizabeth II’s passing. This was particularly Meghan, who released her controversial interview with ‘The Cut’ on the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
And by extension, Harry was also involved in that controversy. And yet, the pair seem more united than ever as shown in the photo. The fans on social media were not so sympathetic towards the picture.
A certain subset of people felt this was a PR time attempt to improve the image of the Sussexes. And in the process of doing so, the comments were very harsh indeed. One person wrote: “Partners in crime usually do go hand in hand. Traitors.”
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
