Brawling Brutes took issue with Pretty Deadly claiming that they have no good challengers, and now it’s Tuesday Night Fight Night. Butch knows all about being the NXT Tag Team Champion, holding the belts with Matt Riddle back when he was known as Pete Dunne – and with Ridge Holland by his side, looks to claim gold for a second time. Pretty Deadly have to be on their best game tonight, if they want to remain on top of the NXT tag team division. Brawling Brutes heading into Extreme Rules with gold around their waists against Imperium certainly wouldn’t hurt things.

Brawling Brutes Live Up To Their Name

Holland would kick things off with Prince, getting punched in the face before Wilson got the tag. Jawbreaker would try and set up a suplex, but Holland would show his power and hit a suplex of his own. The double underhook suplex would be stalled – allowing for Butch to nail a running dropkick. Butch would snap at the fingers of Wilson, sending him scurrying for a tag.

Prince would get some quick strikes in as he hit the ring – before Butch ran him down with some strikes. Wilson would take Ten Beats Of The Bohrand, and Pretty Deadly would have to regroup out on the floor. In the ring, Prince would get some uppercuts in on Holland – before being dropped with a hard back elbow.

Butch would come off the top rope with a double stomp to the arm of Prince, before a double knee drop onto the elbow. Wilson would get the tag and retake some control of the match, applying a submission in the middle of the ring – before Butch went after the nose. Pretty Deadly would force Butch into their corner, allowing for some double team attacks.

Pretty Deadly Surviving To Reign Another Day

Butch would fight to a tag, and Holland ran Prince down with a shoulder tackle. Big lariat would follow, before Wilson ran into a powerslam. Prince would follow, being power slammed onto his partner. Powerbomb would be countered with a kick to the face, before Holland nailed a lariat.

Wilson would hop onto the back of Holland to try and prevent a tag – but Holland marched into the tag and Butch took Wilson down with a sunset flip powerbomb for a two count. Prince would save Wilson from a submission, and had his hand stomped in response. Pretty Deadly would be launched with German Suplexes, before Wilson hit a lung blower for a near fall.

Pretty Deadly would take Holland from the ring, and Wilson hit a rebound lariat on Butch for a two count. Spilled Milk would be blocked, and Butch applied an armbar in the ring with Prince pushing Wilson into a pin. Butch would hit Bitter End, and Prince got the foot on the bottom rope to save the match.

Brawling Brutes would isolate Wilson and Holland nailed Northern Grit – but Imperium hit the ringside area. Butch was taken out, and Holland fell to Spilled Milk – allowing the champs to retain!

Should Brawling Brutes get another chance at these titles?Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
