In a recent episode of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, he hosted Greg Fitzsimmons, a fellow comedian. The duo spoke about various topics, starting from commenting about new series, and ending with MacKenzie Scott, Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife.
Joe Rogan Complains About His Wife Not Working And Bossing Around In His House
The conversation was stirred in this direction once the podcast host mentioned birthdays and birthday parties. He opened up and revealed that he is not accepting birthday gifts from friends, but shortly after he somehow got into divorces and remarriages, mentioning MacKenzie Scott.
“So the bit was about a woman worth $39 billion marrying a dude worth $3,200. Like, that guy doesn’t have s*** to say in that relationship. That guy doesn’t get to pick any of the colors of the walls.” – Joe Rogan told his guest.
However, he had a background story to match this, revealing private information – something that he does on very rare occasions.
“I’m like, you know how I know? Because I don’t get to pick anything in my house and my wife doesn’t even work… He has zero chance if she’s that rich. That guy’s on his best behavior.” – Joe Rogan revealed.
He continued speaking about how the net worth of someone’s wife can dictate the way in which the relationship will go. According to the UFC color commentator, a man loses his identity more if his wife is worth more money than him. It is something that is proportional. The bigger the difference the bigger the switch in character.
“MacKenzie Scott’s husband got his pronouns in his Twitter bio, he’s drinking white wine, that guy, he’s neutered. That guy’s a performance artist. He’s putting on a show. He knows how much money she has. I’m like, how long can you be cool? Turns out, 24 months.” – Joe Rogan claimed he knew it from the beginning. “He couldn’t keep it together. There’s no way you can be yourself if your wife is worth $39 billion. It’s just too hard to be yourself.”
The billionaire’s ex-wife was one of the main topics during the podcast episode. Joe Rogan and his guest didn’t fail to mention her philanthropic work as well. She gave more than $8 billion in 2 years.
“She’s just fully committed to social justice and prison reform. She’s really a kind of beautiful soul in that regard” – Rogan praised MacKenzie. “MacKenzie’s a very, very wealthy woman who’s committed to philanthropy. She’s spending all this money on affordable housing, like really cool stuff. However, it’s really cool to see what she’s doing.”
Joe Rogan’s wife is a basic housewife. She is a former model and worked at Volvo for a couple of years as well. She doesn’t have any social media account and Joe Rogan doesn’t post any photos of her or his children for that matter.
The couple has 3 daughters. Two of them are Joe Rogan’s biological, and the oldest is from Jessica’s previous marriage.
