Joe Rogan is open about the fact that he is not close with his family. Especially with his dad, Joe Rogan Sr. If you follow his podcast, when speaking about family, he constantly repeats the fact that his father, a former policeman, was abusive and violent. However now, his half-sister decides to get in her father’s defense and dismiss Joe Rogan’s claims once and for all.
This fact has been once declined by his other half-sister, a couple of years ago when she called the controversial podcaster a liar. She claimed that she wouldn’t describe her father as anything similar to Joe Rogan’s claims. Now, when his second half-sister stepped out to back up her sister’s claims, the relevance of Joe Rogan’s claims is put into question.
Is Joe Rogan Lying That His Father Was Abusive? – His Half-Sister Reveals The Truth
Rosa Rogan Lunelli backed up her father and her sister’s claims that Joe Rogan is lying about his father and about his ‘difficult’ past. She claims that Joe Rogan Sr. even had to live and cope with the claims that he is an abuser. He refused to raise his voice against his son, as he didn’t want to harm his reputation.
“I read that on a podcast Joe states that my father abused women and children. It made me sick. These comments extremely hurt me.” – Rosa Rogan Lunelli claimed. “I also read he was this big tough guy that used to beat the s**t out of people! Come on that’s just comical. Everything said so far has been a lie it doesn’t make sense. All I can say is I love my father more than anything in the world he is the best!”
In addition to the above, Rosa Rogan Lunelli states that explaining the lies to her husband and children was extremely difficult. She states that she is a busy woman. Rosa has two minor children and she is a full-time professional hairstylist and makeup artist. Having all this on her plate, reading and hearing the lies about her father overfilled the patience glass and she needed to react.
“I had to explain to my eldest what Joe Rogan says about his grandfather. Kids and friends of his brought this to his attention.” – Joe Rogan’s sister said. “He asked me, ‘Mom why did he say that about Papa. ‘ I told him, ‘I wish I knew.’ We all know it’s not true so that’s out of the question. I just think maybe he is hurting or maybe his mother told him this, I don’t know.”
The podcaster and UFC color commentator didn’t grow up with his father around. He moved a lot and lived with his mother and several step-fathers during different periods. However, his sister, who lived with Joe Rogan Sr. for her whole life claims that she had a very ‘normal’ childhood was very ‘normal’.
“Growing up my father gave us the world! Literally! My sister and I are very fortunate in life. He has taught us values and hard work and love. I can’t ever remember a time my father even raised his voice to me ever. I tell my father everything. It’s crazy to hear what Joe has to say. It’s hurtful very hurtful. Sometimes I get mad when I hear it and sometimes I feel bad for him. I really don’t know what to think I don’t know him, but I do know my father. That’s one person who has been hurt enough.” – Rosa told the Daily Mail.
The ‘peaceful’ Rosa continued stating that she thinks her brother should already get rid of the ‘playing victim’ game and confess that he lies about his father being abusive.
“Hear the other side of the story. Be honest in life! It’s very sad. I hope soon my father and Joe can find peace. That would be a beautiful thing.” – Rosa wished. “I’m 43 years old and though I don’t listen to his podcast I have googled and heard some. No, I don’t want to get in touch with him not if he speaks about my father the way he does. Then I have no interest at all.”
Lunelli also explained how she and her sister Carselda already tried to get in touch with their half-brother. However, their calls were not answered. When Joe Rogan eventually decided to speak to them he stated that he sees his father only as a ‘sperm donor’ and that he doesn’t want to have anything with him, or them.
“When I first found out about Joe yes obviously I did want to get in touch I had no reason not to want to know him better. But that was years ago. If Joe reached out it would have to be to my father and he would need to come clean and be honest with him. My father is 80 years old not one bad bone in his body! He doesn’t deserve what Rogan says about him.” – Rogan’s half-sister claims.
As the sisters accuse Joe Rogan of being a liar, they ask him to provide any kind of proof for his claims. They beg him to stop the nonsense, as it stresses their father more than he can bear.
“All his claims are false every single one of them. That’s what disgusts me. You broadcast this poor me story.” – Lunelli said. “If you don’t want anything to do with your father stop talking about him. Stop the lies. Go to bed with a clear conscious stop lying to yourself and everyone else. Prove it Joe because you’re speaking about someone’s husband, father, grandfather, and friend and, guess what it’s all lies.”
