Prince William Recalls His Birthday Gift For Kate-‘She’s Never Let Me Forget That’
The pair recently celebrated their ten-year anniversary together last year, which summed up a successful relationship that has been accompanied by three children.
While that may have been the case, things were not always smooth sailing. The Prince of Wales recalled how he made a major mistake with his birthday gift that ended up being a disaster.
And by the looks of it, this is something that Kate does not let William forget. In his comments on Peter Crouch’s podcast, William said: “I did get my wife a pair of binoculars once – she’s never let me forget that.
“That was early on in the courtship, that was – think that sealed the deal. It didn’t go well. Honestly, I have no idea why I bought her a pair of binoculars, it seemed like a good idea at the time.”
Nevertheless, William will have an opportunity to put things right with Kate’s birthday set to occur on Saturday, 9th January 2022.
Kate will turn 42 and it marks another major step in her life, as she would begin her first full year as the Princess of Wales. With that being said, William must pull out all the stops in order to avoid having another disaster once again.
Unlike William, however, Kate has a tendency of giving the perfect gift. During her first Christmas ever spent with the Royal Family, she had the monumental task of deciding what she should get Queen Elizabeth II.
After all, giving someone who has an abundant amount of wealth and access to anything that she wants is always going to be difficult.
She decided to make a homemade chutney that was based upon her grandmother’s recipe which appeared to go down very well. And that is perhaps some inspiration that William can use for his wife’s gift.
