The document that the bank sent to Kanye West to inform him of their ‘cutting ties’ with him has leaked. A conservative commentator took to Twitter to publish the letter in question and bring the stopping of the cooperation to light.

It is natural to think that the stopping of the collaboration comes after his latest controversies. He made the headlines in the past two weeks for several situations. However, that is not the case. According to the date on the leaked document, the bank decided to part ways with Kanye West two weeks before his fashion show in Paris.
The date on the document is registered as the 20th of September. From JPMorgan Chase, they decided to give him 2 months to transfer his funds to another bank of his choice.
However, Kanye West started attacking the bank on social media long ago. He took to Instagram to criticize JPMorgan’s leadership. The main remark that the rapper had was about the bank not allowing him to speak to the bank’s chief executive Jamie Dimon.
Kanye West decided to let the world know that “it’s time for me to go it alone”. He decided “to cut ties with his partners”. Now, as what he wished comes true, there is no comment from Kanye on the matter.
JPMorgan Chase is not the only, and not the biggest concern that Kanye West might have at the moment. Last week, after the controversial fashion show, one of Kanye’s other partners decided to put the collaboration on hold. Adidas, with whom Kanye has had a long time relationship announced that they will review their deal.
Furthermore, they put their collaboration on ‘pause’. Adidas stated that “successful partnerships are rooted in mutual respect and shared values” referring to the disrespect they got from the rapper.
Instead of trying to solve the issues with Adidas, as one of his most profitable partners, Kanye West decided to push them even further away. He took to Instagram to claim that the company ‘stole’ his designs.
“Adidas Yeezy partnership is one of the most successful collaborations in our industry’s history.” – a representative from Adidas said. They are not cutting ties with the rapper completely. Instead, they will try to put “efforts to privately resolve the situation.”
In September, Kanye West said that he is also ending his partnership with Gap. The reason – they failed to honor the terms of their deal.
