The couple are already parents to three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. While that may be the case, Middleton has always been known for having a fondness for children.
So much so that she has admitted to feeling broody in the past when she has held other people’s children. This was most recently seen during the couple’s visit to Cambridge this year.
In the picture here, we can see that Kate is holding a baby girl. She has a massive smile on her face and could not look any happier. Kate was then heard saying the following: “I love babies.”
This begs the question: what are the chances of this happening? Well, as Kate is 40-years-old, there is nothing to suggest that she cannot have another child.
However, based on the current nature of the monarchy which King Charles III has slimmed down, there are question marks over whether another potential heir would fit.
In addition, given that the couple have recently taken on the roles of Prince and Princess of Wales, they will no doubt have added further duties. And yet, sources suggest that Kate may have influenced William.
A source confirmed the following: “Kate has been talking about wanting another baby for a while now. She has always wanted four children, and while William was originally happy with three, she has managed to twist his arm.”
The fans on social media could not help but comment on Kate’s approach to parenting. A certain subset of people were of the view that she was a natural mother. One person wrote: “Love when she holds babies so maternal.”
Time will tell if the couple do end up having another baby, and based on what we have seen so far, we are left none the wiser. Watch this space.
