Meghan Markle has been slammed after claims that she used the Royal Family for money.

That is the view of Tom Bower. It is no secret that Meghan has managed to generate a huge amount of money since her exit from the firm. Her lucrative deals with Spotify and Netflix are a testament to that.
Not only that, but her royal title of the Duchess of Sussex has played a significant part in her being able to get those deals in the first place.
After all, her controversial interviews with Oprah Winfrey and ‘The Cut’ have involved disclosures concerning the royals, which were contentious to say the least.
With that being said, Bower questioned whether Meghan really wanted to be a part of the Royal Family in the first place. In his comments, he said: “She wanted the label, she wanted the title, she wanted the money.
“She didn’t get so much money – but she did get the status. And now she’s set on building herself up in America.” In reality, this is very difficult to prove either way.
If Meghan had managed to settle inside the Royal Family, it is possible to argue that she could have made a name for herself in her own right just as Kate Middleton has managed to do.
However, by leaving the firm, she has managed to set up what Piers Morgan described as an alternative Royal Family. The fans on social media backed up what Bower had to say.
A significant proportion of the fan base looked at Meghan’s conduct as soon as she entered into the firm. One person wrote: “She signed a deal with Oprah and Gayle just a few months after meeting Harry.
“It was always her plan to go back but first she had to turn Harry against his family and country.” Regardless of what you think about Meghan, she is still generating a lot of talking points.
