Meghan Markle has confirmed that fans will have the opportunity to meet the Duchess of Sussex at her next event called, ‘The Power of Women.’
Meghan Markle’s Next Speaking Event In Indiana Costs $5000
According to reports, the event is set to take place on Tuesday, 29th November 2022. It will commence at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown hotel.
It is not exactly clear what the topic of discussion will be as of yet, but based on the title of the event, we can expect to see female empowerment being discussed.
If this is something that you fancy, then fans can purchase the tickets at “womensfund.org,’ the price of which is set as follows: “Tables of 10 are available starting at $5,000.”
This begs the question: what can fans expect? Well, the event will give people the opportunity to listen to the Duchess of Sussex. This will be accompanied with some food. With that being said, people had a lot to say on the matter for a variety of reasons.
First of all, there were serious concerns over the actual cost of the event. Even if you were a fan of Meghan, this is not something that everybody could have access to.
And in the process of doing so, it does work against the title of the event, ‘The Power of Women,’ in that it may alienate women from being able to attend.
Secondly, others questioned whether this was a very good look in light of the fact that many people across the world are struggling with the cost of living.
And that is why this event is not going to do Meghan any favours in her attempts to become more relatable with the public. This was reflected in the comments that followed on social media.
One person wrote: “Is she kidding? I’m sorry let’s show a little humility,” while another person stated: “Pay $5,000 to have dinner with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry? I’ll pass.”
