WWE Smackdown Results returned as the Bloodline were having a meeting backstage and Jey and Zane got into it a little but, and Jey told him it’s an Uso thing and they were tag champions before him and will be after him and Jimmy followed him out.
The scene switched to another area as Bray Wyatt paced back and forth and he said he’s not good at sharing his feelings and hates when people interrupt him.
As he said that, a tech guy interrupted him, so he went up to him and explained how you’d fantasize about doing something to people that cut you off, and how he wants to smash the guy’s head.
But he told him to reach down and apologize that he didn’t mean to come in and mess it up.
The tech apologized, and Wyatt accepted it while he visible fought back his desire to cause mayhem.
It’s fight night!
The Usos headed to the ring and cut a promo about continuing to be the tag team champions and called out the Brawling Brutes and the New Day came out in response.

Kofi and Woods told them they’re rooting for the Brawling Brutes to win, and if they do keep their titles the New Day will be waiting for them.
Butch and Ridge Holland knocked out the Usos, then they and the Usos worked over the Usos while Zane and Solo Sikoa came to even the odds.
The Bloodline cleared the ring, and Zayne and Aolo sent Holland into a double superkick, and the Usos went for dual Uso Splashes but Butch stopped them, and Solo took out Butch with a Spinning Solo.
Shayna Baszler w/Ronda Rousey vs. Natalya
Nataly controlled things early on, but it didn’t take long for Baszler to turn it around and go for a stomp on Natalya’s arm.

Natalya countered by rolling her up for a pin attempt, but Baszler turned it up and stomped Natalya down, then stomped her arm.
Baszler kept fighting back and fought out of a sharpshooter and locked in the Kirifuda Clutch for the submission win.
Baszler then hit a running knee that busted Natalya’s nose.
5 on 1 Handicap Match – Braun Strowman vs. 5 Men Picked by MVP
MVP was in the ring and talked how he was happy to hear Strowman is there and he set up five opponents for Strowman.
Strowman came out and leveled them all with a shrug on the ramp, then went after MVP in the ring and after a chase around the ring, Braun caught him and threw him into the barricade.
He tossed MVP into the ring and hit a series of powerslams on him to send a message to Omos.

Intercontinental Championship – GUNTHER (c) w/Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. vs. Rey Mysterio
Rey stayed frosty early and avoided getting caught in the corner by GUNTHER until he tried a crossbody, which GUNTHER caught and placed him across the top ropes to punish him.
GUNTHER kept up the pace and chokeslammed Rey on the ring apron and was willing to let Rey be counted out, but Rey barely crawled back into the ring in time and GUNTHER repeatedly slammed him.
Rey held onto GUTNHER to prevent a slam and tied him up similar to a crucifix and hit a crucifix bomb to buy some time.

Rey fought out of a powerbomb and followed it with a wheel barrow into a DDT to level the field. Rey kept it going with a 619, but Gunther caught him on the top rope and threw him into the ring.
GUNTHER headed to the top and Rey recovered and met him there and countered a powerbomb with a hurricanrana in mid air for a near pinfall.
Rey went for a second 619 but GUNTHER caught him with a big boot and a clothesline for the win.
This was an awesome match and a perfect example of how a big and little man need to do things. We’d love to see another match between them at some point.
