Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoyed a date night at a restaurant dubbed, “The Dutchess.”
Harry And Meghan Had A Date Night At A Restaurant Called ‘The Dutchess’-They Had Tandoori Chicken
The play on words does resonate with the couple due to their Duke and Duchess of Sussex royal titles. But unlike their royal titles, it is claimed that the couple were keeping a low profile on this night.
This was the first time they had attended the restaurant. Not only that, but they apparently arrived without booking a reservation. And once they were seated, they enjoyed some tandoori chicken before departing.
Their behaviour during this time was quite impeccable, which will do wonders for their PR. A source confirmed the following:“[They were] incredibly pleasant, really polite to the staff.
“You would never have noticed [them]. No one approached them and if people recognised them no one showed it.”
Unlike their behaviour, another friend of the couple James Corden has not been making positive headlines for his behaviour at restaurants.
Restaurant owner Keith McNally had claimed that he had banned Corden on the basis that he had been abusive to staff. While that may have been the case, the ban was overturned after Corden apologised.
But this was not before he initially claimed he felt he did nothing wrong. In his comments at the time, Corden remarked: “I haven’t done anything wrong, on any level.
“I was there. I get it. I feel so Zen about the whole thing. Because I think it’s so silly. I just think it’s beneath all of us.” The fans on social media felt this was a publicity stunt.
This was primarily on the basis that the name of the restaurant resembled their royal title. One person wrote: “As if this wasn’t not intentional Meghan and Harry dined at a restaurant called The Duchess, what a great photo op.”
As long as the couple enjoyed their night, the Sussexes will not mind what others have to say. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
